About
Bondage Diaries is the online journal of a BDSM practitioner in the Washington DC metropolitan area. I have known that I was kinky ever since I was a toddler, but aside from getting tied up one time while in college, I did not begin exploring my kinky side in earnest until I was in my thirties. I first began attending public BDSM events in January 2012. I identify as male and tend to switch between top and bottom.
As the operator of a well-established “vanilla” website elsewhere on the Internet and a longtime blogger, I learned long ago that writing helps me to organize my thoughts and express my feelings. When others view what I have written, they often offer their own insights on the situation, which sometimes colors and enhances my own views. However, understanding that not all of mainstream society views kink in the same open-minded way as those of us in the scene might, I found it prudent to keep my thoughts, musings, and stories about BDSM and other matters of kink separate from my regular “vanilla” site.
I created Bondage Diaries in March 2012 as a way to fill my need to write and flesh out my thoughts about BDSM. My goal is to create a safe, respectful, and discreet place to anonymously discuss my thoughts on kink, fetish, and the BDSM scene.
